Our favourite at home... Home Made Mee Hoon Kueh... Guess we took this like in August haha!!! Mum supposed to cook for us but she fell sick on that day and so no choice.. I gotta do and she gave me the instructions~ So stressful.. afraid that it might not be nice after I cook.. but still not bad lar.. haha!!

Ingredients (all agaration....)

For the dough~
500g flour
cornflour
oil
water

Ingredients
Pork
Chinese dried mushroom
Spinach (Heng Cai)
Fishball
Fishcakes
Fried shallots
Dong Cai

Method
1. Mixed all the ingredients for the dough until it forms a dough haha! Water to add progressively until it becomes a dough.. Leave aside.. and before u cook the dough, must knead further to ensure is QQ~

2. Soak some chinese mushroom
3. Sliced pork and marinate with soya sauce, sesame oil and pepper
4. Cut fishcakes and fishballs
5. Peel veggies and soak in water~
6. Fried some ikan bilies till crispy..
7. Leave some ikan bilies in wok and add water ..
8. Bring it to boil and add all the raw ingredients
9. Tear the dough into small pieces and put in the wok..
10. Add veggies..
11. Should be ready when the kueh starts to float up (haha!!!)
12. Rinse abit of dong cai and add to the soup

Note: U can add prawns or whatever variations that you want~ Easy to prepare and good to eat! Hahahaa!!

Too much stuff been happening and I can barely stand it.. Since ages ago, people says that Year of Rabbit is a good year for doggies... why I dont feel it???

Early this year, mum admitted into hospital for near to 45 days due to the wound on her ankle and 2 weeks back, bob admitted into hospital as well due to tendency of a mild stroke... On the day itself, he went to the usual GP @ Marsiling for his skin medicine.. He told the doctor tat he was experiencing numbness on the right side of his body.. the doctor immediately wrote a referrral letter and send him to KTPH for some scans.. Did CT and MRI Scans and the results was ok but there was a prick pressing on his nerves and that is one of the reasons why he is experiencing numbness and tiredness on his body..

Stayed in the hospital for 3 days and had wounds all over his hands due to injections hai... what to do.. after coming back from hospital, he was still feeling weak and nothing could be done coz the surgery is not a minor one.. and if it fails, he could lose the ability to talk or even recognizing us... and if he go thru the surgery, he will lose like 40% to 50% of his neck mobility.. *Confused*

Nothing we can do.. but to tell him drink more chicken essence so that he will be more energetic.. drink more milk to see if it helps to build up abit of resistance in his bones... all these methods seem late.. but hope it helps a bit...

All these enough to bother me liao and so now dont bother myself with other stuffs... work, earn money.... give parents better life and most imptly ... I hope that their health gets better... =)

Ever since I chanced upon the Nigella's muffin recipe - I have been baking muffins way too often.. added variation like mixed fruits, chocolate muffins with chocolate chips and chocolate chips muffins.. all turn out to be well received by my friends .. *beams*

Last week, I couldnt get the chocolate chips at the supermarket and so decided to buy the mixed fruit to make mixed fruit muffins... Same way and same ingredients with the chocolate muffins that I baked but it turn out to be hard like stone.. wondering why~~ Sms my shifu and ask why izzit so and she told me tat have to soak the mixed fruits or raisins for ard 10 mins before adding to the mixture.. haha!! I did not do this step at all!!

And so one week later.. I decided to try again but with the additional step of soaking the mixed fruits... glad it came out well and fluffy!! =)

This recipe is definite keeper!! I like!!

I have always heard from people that when u grow older - your friends become lesser.. To me, I do not have such worries coz there are always family and relatives (cousins) who you can fall back to.. They are not the spare tyres - they are the forever won't worned out tyres.. I have got my ST Loves.. Evils and a couple of close friends who I really feel blessed having them.. but as times goes by, there are just a handful friends whom u want to share ur secrets with .. and to be frank.. I feel most comfortable when I am with ST Loves... shorter span of friendship but they are a really nice group of friends to be with.. they are not just simple colleagues - I would say they are a group of friends who I really treasure..

I do not know what is the rationale of this post but I guess I just wanna post something here! Hahaa!! U need not wear mask when u are with ur true frens... when I am with them - we are naked.. we talked about everything under the sun.. haha!! I guess this is the type of friendship that are really real and sincere.... =)

Wanted to bake a cake but didnt want to try a normal butter cake.. then this cake came to my mind.. Condensed Milk Pound Cake~.. Normal butter cake receipe with variation (Condensed milk) added... the house was full of condensed milk fragrance when I was baking this cake.. came out with good reviews from friends and family.. But I already forgotten where I got this recipe from already.. I printed out from the list of recipes that was saved in my hard disk.. If anyone is interested.. the following are the ingredients and steps..

Ingredients:
240 gm butter (SCS is preferred)
90g sugar
1 cup condensed milk
3 tsp vanilla essence
240 self raising flour
4 eggs

Method:
1. Sift the dry ingredients
2. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy
3. Add vanilla essence
4. Pour in condensed milk and mix well
5. Add in flour in 3 additions and mix till smooth
6. Add eggs 1 @ a time
7. Bake at 170 degrees for hour (or till skewer comes out clean)

Verdict: Frens have reviewed that this cake is nice... with a mild buttery taste and milky taste.. simple method!! Try it out if interested =)

Dulce De Leche Pound Cake

Tried baking the Dulce De Leche Pound Cake with the remaining Dulce De Leche that I have..

If anyone is interested how to make the Dulce De Leche... the following method is the one that I use:

1. Put the can of condensed milk in a pot, on an over turned steaming metal rack.
2. Bring it to a boil and lowered it to a simmer and check frequently to ensure the pot didn't dry up and water level is at least 1.5 inches above the can.
3. Simmered the can for at least 3 hours.
4. Cool the can completely before open it.

Recipe adapted from Bakericious~

Ingredients (7" cake tin)
180g butter
40g sugar
1.5 tsp vanilla essence
3/4 cup dulce de leche
180g self raising flour (sifted)
3 eggs

Method:
1. Grease the cake pan and preheat oven to 170 deg.C.
2. Cream sugar and butter till light and fluffy. Add vanilla essence and dulce de leche and whisk till incorporated
3. Add sifted flour and whisk using low speed
4. Add in eggs, 1 at a time
5. Pour the mixture and send in for baking..

Verdict:
A very tasty cake but abit dry.. wondering if I have overbaked the cake... perhaps add a little milk will help? =)

Tried out a new cake recipe that I have chanced upon while surfing.. The "Zebra Sponge Cake".. The ingredients required are very simple and the lucky me had all the ingredients at home and so decided to try out this cake.. Actually I dont quite like to use 2 types of cake mixture - for example having 2 types of cake batter - original and chocolate.. I always make a mess out of the kitchen.. coz I gotta take out a portion of the original batter to mix with cocoa powder... I guess I need to buy a big mixing bowl to prevent the flour and batter flying everywhere they want..

The ingredients involved are quite simple..

Extracted from: 袅袅烘焙香

Ingredients:

4 Egg Yolks

15g Castor Sugar

1/4 tsp vanilla essence

4 Egg White

1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar

85g Castor Sugar

110g Fine Flour

70g Melted Butter

Chocolate Paste

Method:

1. Beat egg yolks and sugar till pale

2. Beat egg white and cream of tartar till foamy, add in sugar progressively till stiff

3. Mix the egg white (2) to (1) - mix quickly and gently

4. Add in flour - mix gently

5. Add melted butter - separate 1/3 of the batter and add chocolate paste

6. Add 4 tbsp of original better in the middle of ur baking tin and add 3 tbsp of chocolate batter on top.. Repeat till all batter used up

7. Bake at 170 degrees for 36 minutes

When I saw the cake baking in the oven .. I saw the top of the cake browning and I thought that I have made a marble cake instead of a zebra cake.. zzz!! So I left it for cooling before proceeding to cut the cake.. It really surprised me when I saw the lines of my zebra cake... not as nice and pro like other bloggers but personally feeling a great sense of satisfaction.. Will definitely bake this cake again.. hmmm mabbe tml?

Special Post dedicated to Dearest Ah Zhen~

Event: Zhen and Wee Lee Customary Wedding
Date: 05.06.2011 (Sunday)
Time: 6:00am to After mid night
Venue: AMK - Fernvale - AMK - M Hotel

Been anticipating this day since last year when Zhen informed us of her customary date... and part of ST Loves were her jiemeis~ So months before her wedding, she specially bought one dog's clothes in pink to show us what color we have to wear.. and so we started to panick.. coz PINK!! And so scary to see the word pink.. wear liao very fat but no choice la.. for our dearest Zhen, we just have to do it.. especially when it's a happy occasion for our friend~~

Bf stayed over at my house the night before and we woke up ard 4:45am to start preparing and left home ard 6:00am to meet fish at the bus stop.. sudden downpour!! Mad rush at Zhen's house coz we havent start preparing the "food" for the groom and his friends... Start preparing and ended the preparation 15 mins before the groom came.. and we quickly gobble down the breakfast and start to wait for war!!

So the games for gate crashing as follows:

1. Usual Sour/Sweet/Bitter/Hot
2. Scrabble Game in Ice
3. Red/Green Bean Heart
4. 2m coke drinking session

One of the super funny thing happen.. We prepared a certificate for the brothers to sign before we started the game.. and after they read the last sentence.. "No after revenge" and there was a sudden thunder... damm funny sial..~~ We ended the games in ard 45mins and got near to $570 red packet from the groom haha!! and so we moved on to their new house.. heavy rain but ok coz all of us were dead beat and super scared tat the videographer might tell us run or do stupid post! haha!! We nua abit at Zhen's new house den went back to AMK for buffet... then back to M hotel to rest and prepare for the night..

Thanks to Zhen, she got a MUA to do make up for us.. Pretty me and Bf~ Hahaa!! Then move on to dinner... den the loudest yum seng that we gave for the bride and groom.. hope tat they will stay blissful always but I think they definitely will coz I can sense it.. =)

Drank quite abit tat day.. coz happy occasion ma.. then ok no strength to remove makeup.. went back to hotel room change and jump on to the bed.. that was how tired I was!! And the nice fish then help me to remove make up and earrings haha!! Thanks Fishy~

Check out ard 2pm the nxt morning... Feeling tired but happy!! Glad that everything went on successfully for the couple... =)

A really warmth feeling and happy marriage.. I enjoyed and I'm sure the couple too~

Another simple food stuff prepared~ Adel got me these cans of tuna and I dont have the chance to prepare even a simple tuna mayo sandwich for myself.. Decided to prepare and bring for ST Loves breakfast today~ Simple to do, nice to eat!! Haha!!

First the ingredients involved are:

1. Tuna (Any brands will do)
2. Mayonnaise
3. Bread
4. Pepper
5. Veggies (I omit coz I dont like!! Haha!)

Preparation are rather easy.. remove all the oil from the can and add mayo and pepper to taste.. haha! I like it to have more peppery taste so normally I add quite a fair bit.. Then spread bit of butter on the bread and then spread the tuna.. and you are done!! Hahaha!!! U can add lettuce or tomatoes if U want it to be healthier....

I think this is the 3rd time that I am typing out this post.. 1st on my iphone then on my laptop.. somehow the auto draft just disappear..

Been disappearing from the baking life since last year when mama was sick.. just simply cannot find the time to start baking.. and now I guess I have some time to start again coz mama is recovering well.. =)

Baking have always been my hobbies even tho I think I cant bake well haha!! I just like to see the process from raw ingredients - batter - cake!! Haha!! Always feel like baking when I am feeling down.. and so when there are posts of cakes, it means tat I am not in the best of mood.. and I have baked on both Thursday and Saturday.. I guess when you are down, you just hope that ur mind is busy and occupied with everything except the stuffs which is troubling you... and so I baked muffins and marble cake on Thursday!!! Brought the cake to office for my ST Loves to try haha!! And I hope that they like the cake.. =))

This time, I decided to bake Chocolate muffins with chocolate chips.. reason being this muffin uses the melting method... one of the simplest way of mixing the batter.. and the muffins really turns out nice.. You can add variation whether u want a chocolate mixture or just a plain vanilla mixture.. Scroll down for more pics...!!!

As time goes by.. the clock keep ticking away like nobody's business... what are your main concerns in life? Money? Health? Career? All human have different needs and wants in life and I supposed all are linked... With career you can have money but with money and career, it cannot buy you health..

I supposed this is one of the horrifying year start that I have... Mum getting hospitalized and undergoing surgery... horrifying process that we have to went through.. everyday is a tedious cycle.. Buying mum lunch, dinner and accompanying her in the hospital.. every bit of free time is always in the hospital.. I wanted her to get well and go home asap.. and Im glad tat she finally could discharge after 1 month plus of staying in the hospital.. and now she have to do wound dressing every alternate days..

After mum hospitalized den it was dad's turn... his health deteoriate and he seems to be more worst off than mama.. hai.. no strength in his legs and hands.. really very sad to see all these happening to them.. I really hope that dad can recover soon at the expense of anything... With medication and proper diet, hope that things will really go well and everything be ok...

Hello~ Just came back from the yearly retreat Japan 2011... Enjoyed the cold weather, the nice food and of coz the branded bags.. Alot of damage but I think dont count.. its the rest and relax retreat that counts isnt it?

I still got alot of outstanding posts for Xmas 2010 haha!! Guess will update soon but CNY is just around the corner like next week.. CNY is always the love and hate occassion.. TO me, its now another long break for me to stay and home to sleep..

And more sian ... Mum fell sick.. and she look so tired and sick.. at times just hope that things will be fine and she will get well soon.. stop torturing her!! Just abit of update!! I freaking hate my job now.. so much things to do... Cant even take mc or leave when I feel sick or I want to stay home to accompany my mama... and guess what.. I dont think this company appreciates you of not having mc or not taking leave lar.. just freaking hate everything now~~~

This event occurred in October 2010 - The last bdae of the Evil for 201o..

It was the fushion night for Ling bdae... and the bdae gal got to prepare the food for us.. We had maggie mee wrapped up in omelette.. bacon and golden mushroom.. Chicken wings.. roasted duck.. charsiew and roasted pork.. the food demon - new nick by Ling sister.. she was horrified by our appetite haha!!!

The usual cake cutting and red wine drinking after our food... watching weird Korean show together... sometimes this is the quality time that I look forward to with my friends...

A great dinner gathering with nice food cooked by the bdae gal.. thanks for the wonderful fushion night...

Updates Updates!!! Just got some free time today coz I came home early or rather punctually at 6pm!! So decided to do some updating since I still got few more entries to go... Rewind to October 2010 for Ah Min Bdae... The first evil bdae for October 2010! The usual agenda was dinner together.. and this time round we decided to go for some chinese zi char meal.. Ban Leong Restaurant at Thomson.. Those staying in the North should be familiar with this restaurant.. one of the popular restaurant in Thomson area.. and always full of pple during weekends!!

So our nice granny picked us up ... Thanks to Ling who queued for us first else there will be no seats for us.. heng ah~~ Haha.. ordered alot of dishes and 3 types of crabbies.. we are the food-goddess... we can really eat.. dun suspect us ok.. haha!!! Not expensive also.. and I guess the auntie was terrified at our abilities to eat 3 crabs haha!! Gal power ok~

After dinner... we went to Mustafa coz Hua wanted to get a roller luggage for her Japan tour.. and so the evils nearly turn the roof over at the Mustafa... haha!!! After getting the luggage, it was our usual 2nd home.. T3!! Drink and cakes over at Coffee Club Express.. where we have great chats and luffs over the drinks... Simple dinner and quality session with my dearest evils.. simply love u all to the max.. Full album over at Facebook.. so selective pictures here!!

Just a simple update.. It's been a long time since I have last updated my blog.. Thinking back, I still got 2 more birthdays in October to update - Min and Ling bday.. I hope to clear the outstanding posts before the joyous and busy December comes..

It's been like going to be one month since I have taken over the new jobscope.. The work load is not as much as my previous scope but more responsibilities.. Which means I cannot slack during work hours and more cheap labour.. Free taxi rides and meal allowance but I do hope that these hardwork pays off next year!!

Lastly I want to extend my gratefulness to my ST Loves.. Helping me to locate the files in office when I needed their help hehe!! Let's look forward to the Xmas feast and Secret Pal Mystery soon!!

Haha I forget when is the date that we attended this event but I did an entry over at ST LOVES Blog already haha.. Another special occasion when 4 of the ST Loves went for a Charity Bowling event by our company... A sponsored lane by our security manager haha.. so its free~ Together with Jo, Zhen and Bf.. we left work ard 2+ to Tanah Merah SAFRA Club for the event... haha!! Free coupons for us to have some snacks before the game.. and I brought Pinkpink along to the event as well haha!!!

So the ST Loves came in 2nd!! From behind hahahahahahaa... cannot blame hor.. got alot professionals sial.. and we are there to just join in the fun nia... So after finishing the 2 sets of game.. time for our dinner at Vivo... We had Sushi Teh haha!!! A good dinner for our well-deserved game in the noons haha!!!!!!! Then a mini shopping session and home sweet home already..

The Ah Lims always have a practice of dinner gatherings for our bdae.. This time round PR wanted to have a steamboat dinner at home instead with some of our close friends.. So they prepare the food and that includes carrying all the heavy food home..

I didnt have to help coz its a weekday haha!!! So I could eat when I reached home already.. Simple dinner gathering completed with food, wine and great company.. lala~ Keline and Charis bought a bdae cake from Awfully Chocolate and Kirk got another cake from Polar as well.. so in total we have got 2 cakes!! Yummy!!! And to round up the nite with red and white wine as well...

QF bdae celebration at Dbl O... And surprisingly this year my elder and younger sister both joined in the celebration... quite rare.. coz they seldom want to acc us to Dbl O for celebration.. Mahjong session with my auntie before going down to Dbl O for celebration.. And the blur me brought my camera along without the memory card inside haha!! getting blurred... sometimes bring the camera but not the battery and this time round without memory card.. sian right.. but luckily Nes lent me her memory card.. else no pics le..

And the drunkard for the day is CH, QF.. si bei jiat lat haha!!! After our clubbing at Dbl O, we went to the Chong Pang Nasi Lemak for our supper.. and suddenly it pours cat and dog liaO..

Simple clubbing night with the usual Dbl O khaki, my sisters, best cousins and 2 of my evil sisters.. Great time with them...

I reallie got quite a no. of outstanding post.. shall reallie post it up real soon.. reallie busy at work.. Transition period - got to train new gal, finish my outstanding work and soon to take over a new job scope with no one training me.. damm the selfish woman!

Fruit Pastry Cake..

I still got some buttermilk left in the fridge, so I attempted to bake the Fruit Pastry Cake... There are alot of bloggers who are baking this cake.. which looks very pretty.. so I tried!! But there are no fruits at home le and the only over-stocked cans were the pineapple cans haha!! And so I decided to try it out with pineapples haha!! I want to try this cake again perhaps with peaches.. which looks nice and some strawberries to add more colors to it.. Perhaps hmm this weekend ba!!

Ingredients (From Bakericious)
100g butter, soften at room temperature
150g caster sugar
50g plain yogurt
3 eggs, lightly beaten, room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon orange zest
210g plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Some canned peaches (I used pineapples)

Method:
1. Wash the fruits to remove the syrup
2. Grease (with butter) and flour the side of a 8" round pan and line the base with parchment paper
3. With an electric mixer, cream butter, sugar and yogurt till light and fluffy.
4. Dribble in the eggs gradually and beat till incorporated in the batter. (The mixture may appear slightly curdled.)
5. Add vanilla extract and zest. Mix to combine.
6. Sieve over flour and baking powder and mix till smooth.
7. Add in cubes canned peaches and fold to mix.
8. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.9. Arrange fruits on top, don’t press the fruits down into the batter. Decorate the fruits as desired.
10. Bake in pre-heat oven at 180degC for 60-70 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean when inserted into the cake. Cover the top with foil in the last 15 mins of baking to prevent the top from getting over browned.
11. Leave the cake to cool in the pan for about 5~10 mins. Unmold and transfer to wire rack to let cool completely. Dust the cake with some icing sugar if desired.

25 years ago... a new family member to the Ah Lims Family... which resulted in my younger sister.. Lim Peirong.. Haha.. Time flies and this year is her 25th bdae liao..

We had a simple steamboat dinner with some friends and our carebears haha!! And also 2 cakes - Sinful chocolate cake from Awfully Chocolate and Strawberry cake from Polar.. nice!! Red + White wine as well.. Simple and nice nice!!

Ger, Happy birthday!!! Stay irritating and happie always.. May lady luck follow wherever u are ok!! =)

Bakericious is now my top site to browse whenever I feel like baking.. The recipe always yield very good cakes.. Anyone who wants to bake nice cake, can try her posted recipes there hee!!

When the chicago cheesecake was posted in her website, I wanted so much to try but can find the sour cream or buttermilk at the Yishun NTUC.. and so I kept postponing the making of the cake.. then I finally found the buttermilk at the Giant Supermarket at Vivo City.. My sister likes heavy flavoured stuffs so I tot of trying this cheesecake.. hee!!! And I finally move my lazy ass to bake this cake on a Sunday where I forget the date..

The few recipes that I saw online was different.. The base was just made up of crushed biscuits and butter.. but for this cake, I gotta make the base from scratch.. but it smells nice even before baking.. more steps but more worth it.. Gotta mix and press the batter to the springform tin den put to freeze den out to bake it again...

Shall post the recipe at the end of this entry ... If you guys like very cheesy cakes - this is the choice.. yummilicious!! Shall make this for the Fushion Night Bdae Party haha!!

Ingredients : (for 6" cake pan) - recipe adopted from Bakericious

Crust :

64g unsalted butter, softened and cut into chunks

20g icing sugar

1/8 tsp vanilla extract

64g all-purpose flour

pinch of salt (I omitted this coz I use salted butter)

Filling :

500g cream cheese, softened

100g granulated sugar

2 tbsp lemon zest

3/4 tbsp all-purpose flour

1/8 tsp salt

1/3 cup buttermilk (original recipe call for sour cream)

3/4 tsp vanilla extract

1 medium egg yolk

2 medium eggs

Method :

For the crust:

1. Beat the butter and sugar together on medium speed until light and fluffy

2. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.

3. Add the flour and the salt and beat on low speed until just combined.

4. Press the crust evenly into the bottom of the pan. Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.5. Pre-heat oven at 175 degree.

6. Prick the chilled crust several times with a fork and bake until golden, about 20 minutes.

7. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.

For the filling:

1. Pre-heat oven at 175 degree.

2. Beat the cream cheese on medium-low speed to break it up and soften it.

3. Add half the sugar and the lemon zest and beat on medium-low speed until combine.

4. Beat in the remaining sugar, flour, and salt until combined, another minute.

5. Mix well the vanilla extra with buttermilk and add in to the batter to beat until combine.

6. Add the egg yolk and beat for one minute.

7. Add the eggs, one at a time and beat to combine after each addition.

8. Grease the side of the cake pan. Set the pan on a rimmed baking sheet or aluminum foil to catch any spill.

9. Pour the filling onto the cooled crust and bake for 50 - 60 mins or until the cheesecake is firm around the edges and barely jiggles in the center.

10. Transfer to wire rack and cool for 3 hours then wrap tightly with plastic and chill in the fridge for at least 3 hours and up to 4 days.

11. Unmould the cheesecake and serve.

After freezing the cheesecake in the fridge for few hours, the appearance changes to glossy ... wondering why.. but its a very nice cake.. try it!!!

Gathering with poly loves - Shuyu, Agunes and Yimin...

Dinner venue at Vivo~ The Queen and Mangosteen - A British pub that allows u to chill and even watch the fireworks from Universal Studio ok!! Recommended by Yimin.. Wah but hor it is very tedious to travel from work to Vivo le.. coz its very far and not mentioning that we gotta on call cab to go home after our dinner... So we have decided that our nxt gathering will be somewhere at town area!! =)

Brought some chocolate swirl cheesecake for Min and Agu.. glad that they like it but guess too little.. shall make again for them for our nxt gathering ok!! Order alot of finger foods.. Onion ring, buffalo wings, fries with crab sauce (this is very nice!!!) The 3 non veg pple ordered fish and chips whereas fish order some vegetarian rice... and a very refreshing drink... forget the name haha!! With a little bit of alcohol content.. =)

The dinner was great with all the gossips and chats that we have.. We shall have more of these gatherings ok!!!!!

Friends come and go.. actually I am so glad that we are still in contact even after graduation from our poly days.. Like what we say.. we try to have gathering on monthly or perhaps bi-monthly ok..

Dearest Gal bday dinner @ Wild Rocket dated 20.08.2010 - Its already super long over due already!! Hahaha!! Even before this dinner... the evils already forecasted that our tummy will not be filled up by this fine dining dinner haha!! We agreed to dress up for the dinner or did we not? And my super granny wear super thick make up as if she was gg clubbing..!!!

I got a shock when I board her car haha!! And she told me "why ur make up so light"... I then told her that I always follow the light make up trend de ley.. and she forced to me touch up again.. but I can never touch up to her standard of fake lashes and the very red blusher and dark eye liner haha!! As usual we were the last to reach there.. super quiet ambience.. but after we went in.. super horrifying.. the restaurant was filled with our sound and laughter haha!!

Choose to have set meal and we shared a bottle of red wine.. small portion.. aiyo.. hahaha!! I was not full lor.. but was abit full after eating the bdae cake haha!! I kindda forget what are the names of the dishes but you all can scroll down to view the pictures if u want to!!! We sat in the restaurant till around 10 then decided to go down to Marina Square to watch movie.. Step uP!! Nice show ley.. anyway I guess the movie is not on air in cinemas already haha!! So dun need to review on the show...

Since I was not full then I buy a jumbo hotdog to eat in the cinema.. and this RX super horrifying.. she fell asleep after eating her nanchos sial.. guess this is not the type of movie for her.. After movies.. it was time to go home.. since granny gotta work the nxt day, we told her to leave first since we got 3 cars on that day... Nes parked her car just at the basement of the cinema blk.. so conveniently we board her car and she send us to min car haha!! We nearly acted in the Final Destination when Nes started to drive off when Hua's one leg was outside the car hahaha!!! Then my fone rang... "Luanie" showed on my fone screen...

Me: Simi dai ji..
Luan: Ehh I cannot find my car ley..
Me: Huh how come ah?
Luan: U ask min I parked at which floor.. coz i saw her car but not mine..
Min: She parked one level up I think..

Then we saw Luanie.. got her to come in the car and they squeeze behind and we went rounds and rounds to find the car.. and this Luanie oso sort.. Nes havent stop her car then she wanted to open door to alight... siao!! And we finally found her car when they stop at the lift to go up one floor.. and her car was just outside the lift.. haha!! Marina Square carpark is soo0o0o confusing!!!!!

Then we went back to Min's car then home sweet home ler..

2nd last day of the trip... woke up early in the morning coz we got to take ferry to Macau.. and this morning we chose to have our breakfast in one of the cafe style restaurant near our hotel.. U can choose different combination like Bread+Egg... Fillet+Sausage etc.. not bad..

Then we took the taxi to the place for the ferry... the blur 6 went walking around the shopping center coz we cannot find the place to buy the tix.. and the pple in HK took us ard to see the garden... The tix counter was not in the center where we were.. and they kept telling us walk straight.. and wasted like half hr to find the counter!! ZzZZzzzzz!!!

After finding the counter... we bought the tix and waited for the ferry to come.. similar to those ferry that we take to Batam... felt sea-sick.. heng granny got giam giam.. ate the giam giam and fell asleep.. Feeling super tired towards the end of the holiday already... reached Macau.. got to Q again.. ZzZz!! Then took the shuttle bus to Venetian Casino.. Pretty building and casino at Macau.. but we didnt have much places to go .. coz we have to travel quite a bit of distance.. and so we stayed at the Venetian Casino for shopping..

First stop at the Almond biscuit counter... and eating the must try portugese egg tart.. I ate 2 and bought 2 more back to our hotel so that I can eat later!! Very fragrant and crispy.. yummy!! After buying the biscuits... we walked around taking picture.. Very nice interior of the casino.. Night is never here coz the ceiling are painted in "Clouds" very special.. THen went to the Man U shop.. to see see look look and then Lunch at mac coz there was an ice cream coupon for us~ Hahahaaha!!

Then souvenier shop again.. and by the time we left the casino, its already like 4pm already.. behind time again!! We decided to bring our stuffs back to hotel take a short rest then time for night market.. Total nightmare coming again.. We wanted to buy Heng Hiang Wife biscuits home ... then they dun provide delivery.. faint and it was too far for us to come back the next day before we board the plane.. and so the 6 of us carry the stupid super heavy biscuits with us everywhere we go.. its TMD HEAVY LOR!!!!

Dinner at the Silver Dragon again hahaha!! They got so much of different outlets in HK.. then decided to go back first with my 2 ST Loves and the rest continue to walk... hahahahaha!! Rest and packed some of the stuffs... When granny came back hotel.. she was practically crawling in already.. hahahahahahaa!!! Packed the luggage and waited for check out the nxt morning!!!

Last day in HK.. Did our check out and went for our breakfast ... we wanted to eat the Bolo bread but the cafe only have one left and so we ate other type of dishes lor.. some ate mee and some ate bread hahahaha... then we went to do some last minute shopping around our hotel area.. and with the 2 ST Loves we managed to find make up pouches just at our hotel place.. haha!! Went back hotel and pack... so went down again and waited for the bus to come.. and ya!! Funny shit happen again...

The bell boy helped us to move our luggage to the bus.. and we didnt want to put the biscuits with our luggage so granny went down to take up my biscuits again and the stupid bell boy brohg up some of the other bags as well.. and he refuses to alight.. so all of us wondering what is he waiting for... SO~~~ He is waiting for our tips ok hahahahahahahahhaaa!! So we gotta dig some money for his tips lor..

Did check in at the Airport.. then went for food again @ Ajisen hahaha.. we are forever hungry u noe.. hahahaha!!!

I enjoyed myself during this short holiday.. other than the hot weather.. everything was fine... got lovely evil sisters and the ST Loves ... Thanks for the wonderful time ok~ WAhahahahaha~~~ Muakies love u all!!

Its like taking me ages to finish blogging on the Hong Kong Trip... Wondering how much backlog posts that I have... this is the 2nd last day of the HK trip, still have one more day of short Macau trip then I am done with this trip already!! At times, I do feel like stop bloggin already.. Coz with the massive usage of Facebook, I would have already uploaded all the pictures in there.. But this blog will serve as a memory box for me.. When I feel like it, I just go to the Archives to see the past years entry.. So let me try to be hardworking to finish up the post since July wahhaa!!

Ok.. so for the itinerary..!! Early in the morning we went for dim sum breakfast again which is like a MUST in HK. with reviews and recommendations, went to "Sweet Dynasty" for our breakfast.. We reached about 11am? Coz it was like a maze and it was really damm hot to be walking on our poor feet for the past few days and I was like having terrible backache already.. that is the disadvantage of travelling in Summer.. and pple was saying that there are lot of Summer Sales in HK.. alot sales meh?? never reallie see alot of sales.. All I saw was the glaring sun light and the hot weather experienced.. I guess I will never travel during Summer ever again.. ONCE IS ENUFF!!!!

Again, alot of food was ordered.. I realise that Hongkees dont reallie order tat much food.. If U see alot of dishes on the table, most prob Singaporeans already!! As usual, we follow our SG spirit.. eat until u drop and we reallie was too full to move our ass after food!!! After our food, went walking around and of coz finding our way back to the MTR to our next destination DISNEYLAND!!!! Another super duper hot place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should feel excited that we are going to Disney but somehow I cannot sense the excitement in me.. all I can sense was the horrifying sun... It took us about half hour for a picture with Hawaii Disney Mickey and Minnie.. and mind you!! Its not in the shade.. its under the stupid hot sun... and I cannot understand how the staff can endure wearing the thick costume and the head gear... that is the good display of loving ur job... =)

After the pic then we move on to the souvenier shop.. Fully air-conditioned and I dont even feel like stepping out of that shop.. then Ling and I heard noises outside the shop.. and it was time for their parade in the specially tailored vehicles... haha!! With water spraying out from their cars.. Guess it helps to reduce the temperature if they spray the water on u.. but u gotta protect ur camera and mobile to prevent the water going in to it..

We spend like 2 hours in the shop? Grab pens, biscuits, key chains and some baby tops for Lele and Azalea and Megan =)

Took pictures with some of the Disney characters and it was close to the fireworks time... at 8pm... OMG.. Can u imagine we spend like the whole dae at the Disney till their closing time? haha!! Without food ... the only meal was the breakfast as Sweet Dynasty... and so we decided to go back to our hotel area to get packed food... Of coz we ordered the roasted goose rice again haha!! Of coz it cannot be compared to Yung Kee lar.. but when u are hungree... everything is nice and tasty..

Felt so tired .. After our night meeting, I wanted to go off to bed already... and this granny.. took out all the stuffs that we bought - display on her bed - took picture - pack and put back to our bags.. very free !!! Hahahaha!!

And will be posting on the Macau trip which was a rather short day.. but tiring coz of the travelling time and distance... Till then!!!

Side Note: 19.09.2010 - Did a mini volunteer work at Kovan CC to make mooncakes for the old folks.. a fruitful event... Hope that there are chances of doing such volunteer work again.. I guess these type of small gestures will bring smiles to the faces of pple who receives it.. =)

With the blink of eyes, its September already.. and to make it worst.. Its been like 2 months since I came back from HK and I am still on the entry for my 3rd day.. But really cannot be helped.. coz I cannot use personal thumbdrive at work already.. Tough for me to blog at work... Will try to finish blogging asap ok!! =)

3rd day of trip~ woke up super duper early~ haha!! As usual me and Luan last ..

1. Breakfast at Macs
2. Ngong Ping 360
3. Shopping @ City Gate
4. Night Market (Ladies Market)

Took the train down to Tung Chung.. Scorching hot today... Had to queue to buy tickets to take the cab up to Ngong Ping.. and according to Fish, the queue was much shorter compared to last time when she went... after the queue for the tix then have to queue again for the cable up to the Buddha place... Q Q Q and more Qs.... Took a slow walk along those shop houses to see if there are souveniers to buy back... reallie tmd hot... kept running into those air con shops to hide from the scorching sun..

Reached the "bottom" of the Buddha... the very sporting pple Ah Min, Zhen and Ling went walking up the stairs.. while the lazy trio went to buy drinks and walk walk around the place... hahahaa!!! Really hot till 100 cans of coke also not enough.. and I guess this is the LAST time that I will go to such hot places already.. ZzzzZzzz!!

Then we have our lunch at Ngong Ping.. Fish, Zhen and Ling went for their vegetarian lunch and the rest went for japanese food at the entrance.. quite nice but still very hot.. dont understand why cant they lower the air con temperature ley... Sweating while eating... after eating.. time to Q again ZzzZZzz!! Q to take the cable down back to the main cable station ... really can faint.. Saw a very funny sight.. there was a group of old aunties from China I think.. we kept saying that the evils willl look like that when we are old.. haha!! But it will be so nice if we still can go travelling together when we are 70/80 whahahhaaa!! Ling.. if by then I cannot walk.. push me using the wheelchair ok haha!!

Time for shopping @ Tung Chung Factory outlets.. nothing much to walk there except for the aircon places... dun need to walk in the big hot sun... Big Coach factory outlets with outdatede designs... then bought one Polo Tee for my elder sister.. $120+++ sian!! HAhahaha till now its still sitting in the cupboard.. wondering when she want to wear it...

After this, we went to night market for shopping le.. settled our dinner at a typical HK Cafe with fried noodles and baked rice.. nothing special.. then went to snatch iphone casings at the night market.. I guess I spend alot of money on the iphone casings haha!! But its such a steal.. the same crystal casing that you see in SG will be selling at 25 and above and I got it in HK for $10 hahaha!! But cant bear to use coz afraid that the beads might fall off..

Legs breaking already.. so together with FIsh and Zhen, we went back to hotel in cabs.. haha!! How can I not take cabs in HK when I am a cab queen in sg!! Bought desserts back to hotel to eat... Then waited for the rest to come back to discuss on the nxt day itinerary then went to bed le.. and ya!! When I was taking off my clothes for showering.. I saw 2 different shades on my shoulder.. hahahahahahhaa~~~

This time round .... no more baking.. Tried to do a simple savoury dish.. I thought the Ah Lims might want to eat some savoury dishes... So I wanted to try this Satay Chicken when I saw the receipe at Bakericious .. The ingredients needed were some Indian spices.. and I got those spices from my nice colleague coz my mum do use such spices to marinate the food..

And so with the ready spices from my colleague.. I went to NTUC to buy the midde wings part.. didnt want to use drumstick coz I was afraid that the chicken might not be cooked.. so chose the wings instead.. after which marinate at home and place it in the fridge... Original step was to fry the wings till golden brown then put to the oven to bake.. I skipped this stage.. just fry ... taste good..

Perhaps my parents dont get use to the taste.. or rather the Ah Lims dont like the taste.. haha!! So I brought the wings to office for my colleagues to try.. and the most impt thing..

Ingredients as follows:
10 drumsticks (I use a packet of wings.. mabbe about 20 pcs)
1 tsp tumeric powder
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
5 tbsp sugar (reduced to 1.5 tbsp)
1 tspn salt
1 tbsp sesame oil

Method :
1. Marinade drum sticks with all ingredients at once. (I kept in the fridge for 4hours)
2. Preheat frying pan with a tablespoon of cooking oil.
3. Simmer drum stick over medium low heat until golden brown.
4. Bake the drumsticks in the oven for 15mins at 200 degree and and serve hot. (I skip this)

Just finish baking today.. started at 8+ to prepare the ingredients and was ready to send the batter to the oven about 9.. short preparation time.. resulting in wonderful texture in the cake..

I prepared 2 loaf tins and I kindda poured too much to the first tin and resulting in lesser batter for the 2nd one.. haha.. and so I poured the chocolate to the base of the aluminium foil tin and then the cheese mixture.. and did some simple swirls using the chopstick.. I guess I have added too much cocoa powder thus the chocolate batter was rather dark.. I think I will reduce abit for the cocoa powder..

And taadaa.. I have 2 types of cakes .. haha .. one with swirl on top and the other one with chocolate on top and base.. I want to make this again.. and perhaps double the cheese mixture.. coz I love to eat cheesy stuffs!! haha!!! My family members feel that this is one of the "bestest" cake that I have baked.. haha.. I am so going to share with my loves at office and bringing some to my poly friends gathering tml.. =)

Actually I was thinking ... with the high usage of facebook nowadays leads to the lesser frequency of updating blog.. I will post up all the pictures in the facebook but I guess the blog serves as a memory for myself.. I do have the habit of reading my past entries.. and so I guess I will go on blogging.. haha!!!

Moving on to the 2nd day of my HK trip..

1. Tim Sum for breakfast..
2. Langham Place shopping
3. Shopping at Time square
4. Yung Kee for dinner

Woke up slightly earlier ard 9am coz we are going for tim sum breakfast.. Ling found this place via the Openrice website.. and it is quite convenient coz its near our hotel hehe!! But we still gotta queue for awhile coz the place was rather small and there was 2 group pple queing for seats as well.. Actually the Hongkees dont order so much food de.. and so when they see us ordering so much, they must be thinking we are perverts.. haha!! In Singapore, the congee are served in small bowls and thinking that the bowls of congee are small.. we ordered each a bowl.. and the congee served was in quite a big bowl.. cannot finish.. haha!!

And ordered all the different tim sum.. ate until we nearly exploded.. haha!! But we managed to stuff ourselves and finish up the food before proceeding to shopping... Wah Piang... the shopping centers are so far away from the MTR station... walked till my leg break.. haha.. and bought a Jill Staurt glitter powder for myself.. hahaha quite lasting and nice as well... practially its shopping and buying cookies and giam giam ...

Then we decided to eat lunch already haha.. tat is very fast.. but I guess holidays are liddat.. full of eating and shopping.. and so we finally settled down at one HK Cafe.. actually we just wanted to rest our feets and eat toast.. in the end.. we ordered roasted goose haha with maggie mee and rice... very full sial... then its shopping again..

And our night dinner was at Yung Kee.. the famous chinese restaurant.. the roasted goose and pi dan was heavenly.. damm nice sial.. and bought 4 boxes of pi dan home coz my family loves to eat.. but of coz damm heavy....

So our 2nd day was spend on eating and shopping hahaha....

I have got so much stuffs to update but really no time to update.. Still got HK trip to finish updating... the evils sisters annual stay at hotel.. the MBS stay with ST Loves... no time to rest... super tired and.. adding on ... I fell sick... zzz!!!

Over the years.. I realise that alot of things are not within our control.. I got so much unhappiness that I cannot voice out..

Latest issue is on the "Gong tek" for my grandma.. I missed her alot.. time dont heal any wound.. the hurt is there... the love is there.. the misery is there... But I just simply dun like my relatives.. reallie dun like.. Sometimes I even think that there is no need for relatives after granny left.. Just ourselves will do.. The Ah Lims will do..

And I warn YOU all first.. dont come farking bully my mother or order my mother to do anything... I dont like it.. and I really hate u all!!! All the fakos!!!

Went for my 2nd trip of the year... Hongkong!!! There was a promo for Cathay airlines with Maybank CC and so we decided to go during the promotion period.. The air tix was only $399 which was considered quite cheap.. Together with my Evils (Ling, Luan and Min) and my ST Loves (Zhen and Fish).. hotel chosen was Metropark Hotel Mongkok... it was near the MTR and more convenient for us since we were going on a free and easy trip...

Plane take off at 8am and so Luanie's dad came over to pick us at 6am.. Thanks uncle!! As usual after check in.. it was around 7+ already and the gate was far away... so we have to pack breakfast up to the plane to eat haha!! Hungry sial!!! Cathay planes are so punctual that you must make sure tat you are at the gate like 10 or 15 mins early...

Reached Hongkong about 4 hours later... haha!! Fast... Then went to the hotel transfer counter to book seats to our hotel.. reached our hotel about 2pm.. rest, wash up and decided to go out already.. omg!!! REALLY IS SUMMER LOR!! HOT UNTIL CANNOT HOT!! every step u take rite, the sweat will come "flying" from ur forehead haha... this real okie!!

Our first meal of the day was at a HK Cafe near our hotel.. we ate noodles and drank iced milk tea... which was real sweet.. This meal was about HKD 24 which is about SGD 5 - same as our SG meal bah.. haha!! After the hearty meal.. found our way to the Prince Edward MTR to buy our Octopus card.. which will last us for the trip and getting back the refund after using the card.. quite worthwhile.. since most of the time we are taking the train...

First tourist attraction is the Madame Tussauds + The Peak.. took to train and have to walk up a mini hill to take the tram up to the peak.. faint!! SUPER LONG Q for the tram and Fish told us that we have to find a seat coz the slope is damm high.. and so we showed our Singaporeans spirit.. SNATCH SEATS OF COZ.. and really the slope was very steep.. glad that we found a seat and enjoyed the scenery up the hill hahaha!! SO basicaly we took pictures in the "Wax Museum" haha with all the famous celebrities.. and of coz our Mr LKY was included as well...

After this we rested our feets at a HK Cafe for drinks then proceeded up to the Sky Terrace to view the magnificient Night view of HK .... hahahahahaa.... actually I tot it was rather normal view.. but since its a tourist attraction then we have to go up and view... then it was time for dinner.. rather difficult to find a restaurant with vegetarian dishes and so we went back to the previous HK Cafe... with the Frog manager... who was not so polite.. But I guess that is the Hongkong style...

Initial plan was to go LKF for drinks but I guess the weather was making us too tired.. so we decided to call it off a day ... rest early and get ready for the 2nd day... hahaha... first day was already very tired... and futher down the days... legs tired!! haha!! I shall update reall soon for the 2nd day ok..

A dinner session few weeks or rather one mth ago.. haha!! Participants include... Shuyu, Agunes, Morris and myself.. weird combination with Morris included haha but still we went ahead with the dinner... Dinner at Pearl River Restaurant @ Suntec... my first time there.. Ala-carte chinese buffet.. same as Tunglok but some of the food taste much more niceer I think.. haha but if u are going for service then Tunglok is the place coz the staff here or rather ONE staff rude..

Agunes order a weird plate of food and towards the last serving time, we requested for a claypot duck and this RUDE woman say that we cannot order first unless we finish the dishes on our table.. siao meh... We cannot order and slowly finish up our food ah.. damm idiotic.. but still we managed to get the claypot duck that we wanted... humph!! Food not bad, interested parties can call up them to make a reservation haha!!

After the dinner.. went to Mandarin hotel for Martinis.. yummy.. Me and Agu took 2 martinis each.. while fish and morris took some fruit beverage.. the apple-martini GREAT!!! Give it a try if u are at the Mandarin Hotel's lounge ok..

This entry is specially dedicated to my baobei of the Evil Sisters.. sorry that I am so late in putting up this post.. we had a dinner with her at Tunglok 2 days before we left for HK.. thus am so late .. ok excuses I know.. but you know the importance of u in my heart can le.. wahhaha *puke*

Still remember during secondary school.. she was the gal after me coz we both have the surname Lim.. and still remember our first topic occurs when I ask her wat ECA she joining and she told me St John.. how boring.. I was in the choir ok wahahahaha!! for less than a year.. boring!!! THen after that this clever gal went to express and seldom gather with us already but.. but being the nicest sisters on earth.. we brought her and welcome her back into our arms after we went to our poly.. and here we are still sharing the strongest friendship bonding hahaha!!

So this year bdae celebration at Tung Lok.. pre-booked the mini function room like few mths back when I was celebrating my bdae here.. excellent service ok... the nice staffs will help u cut the cake and serve you, not mentioning that they have those "Peach buns" for u ~ longevity ok!! As usual we ate till we nearly explode ... till ard 10 plus I think and we slowly departs for home.. haha!! Although a small gathering dinner session but it definitely warms my heart seeing these dearests of mine...!!!

Congratulations! Today is your 5th Anniversary of Service in ST Electronics.

Happy 5th Anniversary!

不知不觉.. This is my 5th year in ST Electronics already.. Still remember the first day I step here working.. Luckily got Shuyu to accompany me so I dont need to go around joining other pple's group for lunch.. And slowly our lunch khaki group expanded.. With addition of Jo, Zhen, Bf and Rose.. we formed the ST Loves..

They are the only best stuffs that I "earned" over these 5 yrs working here.. And of coz my darling boss lar.. actually I know that she is nice to me... fought alot of benefits for me.. gave me alot of chance to learn new things outside my job scope.. I am appreciative of her efforts although she sometimes very moody... =X

Im sure this is the one and only 5 years here.. and will need to find new jobs next year...

Decided to do a short blog entry to mark this special gathering.. The fantastic five planned for this gathering like 2 months ago and so off we went to Ritz Carlton for the 1 for 1 buffet.. Every Wednesday for all ladies and pls remember to bring a DBS card coz this is a special priviledge for all ladies on a Wednesday Night..

So 100m sprint with my dearest bf to Ritz to meet up with Ting and Lexin.. And we were so afraid that Lexin will put last min aeroplane and so I got to blast her calls after work haha!! And Bf and I nearly want to faint after waiting for the 2 of them.. so we decided to go in to the restaurant to wait for them... and since we were so hungree.. we decided to get the superb ginseng chicken soup - super delicious... if u all go, remember to try a bowl or two.. haha!!!

THe dinner lasted till 10pm... and we all went home liao.. and I took a weirdo uncle cab lor.. TMD... cab full of alcohol smell and talk rubbish to me.. so scary... haha!! I dun want to talk about the uncle la.. haha!!

I just want to say that I enjoy the dinner with my Fantastic Five... u gals are simply the best.. =)

Have been neglecting this blog of mine for the longest time... Do not have the time to update nowadays due to the following reasons:

1. World Cup 2010~
Been betting a little on the matches and have to carry out research before matches to decide on which team to bet.. ok, most of the time Pr is the one who is checking.. I just ride on her bets wahahah!! So far ok .. no big losses or big wins.. the WC is coming to an end soon liao!! So still got some more time to add more winnings to our pool~ haha!!

2. Lazy... ok dun need to elaborate on this~

3. Colleague going on leave for 10 days and I have to collect all the shit.. helping the new gal.. and hor.. hai alot of stories on the new gal.. shall post it when I am free la ok.. but if u are very interested den read from my profile in facebook and u shall know the reason ok! Gotta do my own closing, guide the gal and help my colleague to finish her havent finish work.. and worst to add on.. must help boss do the GST thing.. where got so much time to do all thes..

4. Going to HK in july.. the long awaited break ... I know I just went TW in April but I needed another break.. this time round with my 2 ST Loves - fish and Zhen.. and my evils - Ling, Luan and Min.. haha! Bf I will miss you and I shall look forward to our honeymoon trip ok!! haha!!

Elder Sister's Bdae Dinner @ Gim Tim AMK!! Her post bdae dinner and the pre-father's day dinner together.. so we can save a meal money haha!!! Didnt know where to have our dinner and so we decided on Gim Tim at AMK!! Heng it was CH treat... rather expensive..

We ordered sharksfin, crabbies, roasted chicken, sea cucumber, asparagus with scallops, yam ring and the all time favourite orr ni~ Poor mama cannnot eat alot of stuffs coz it contains peanuts and seafood... dun want to aggrevate her toe condition.. =)

Food was ok but reallie on the pricey side.. the sharksfin was nice .. scallops not bad quite fresh... yam ring oso.. they put in sweet corn in the all time favourite Orr Ni.. I will prefer more gingko nuts in the orr ni... hee!! Me and PR eat ate one and half bowl of it.. *burp*

Thanks elder sister for the treat!! WAahaahaha!!!

Amazing week with amazing lunch!! Hahaha!! Fish was on leave for her exams for 3 days so we made full use by going to different places for our lunch~ Greedy us~

1. 1st stop - Pig trotters and soup @ Sembawang Hill Food Center
2. 2nd stop - Fish and Co
3. 3rd stop - Jack's Place..

Our first stop was at the Sembawang Hill Food Center - famous for their kway chup and the sliced fish soup.. But I chose to eat the pig trotters and the mixed porkie soup hee!! Shared with Jo and we each order a huge glass of lemon juice! Yummy!! After delicious lunch then we proceed to "huat huat" @ the 7-11 shop.. haha!!

2nd day.. Jo on leave .. just nice Bf, Zhen, Rose and I could share cab together... Decided to go Fish & CO where they have the lunch treat of $9.90 for a main dish.. U can top up $5 for the full set tat comprises of soup and drink.. Seafood chowder, sambal dory and passionfruit.. superly FULL!! But so dishonest ley.. we ordered the sambal fish and the supervisor told us tat the main dish will be served in 15mins time.. and she came back to us telling me tat the fish is not fully de-frozed yet.. hello? Ur lunch time is 11.30am to 2pm.. you should have de-froze it before 1130 am right.. and so I requested for other fish but still I want the sambal..

She reply: ok i will check with the cook...

Then no come back already but still managed to find the dory fish to serve us~ Weird pple!!!!

After lunch.. time to walk walk.. bought a box of brown tea rice for mama.. hope tat her toe condition will be fine soon with her own special care and diet.. =)

3rd day. .Lunch at Jack's place for their lunch treat.. quite nice ley.. roasted chicken with some gravy.. I wanted to have the baked potato so have to top another $2.. and for drinks its one for one.. and u still have a soup, fruits and garlic bread.. much more cheaper than Fish and Co... and full house lor.. can go eat again!! =)

Been neglecting this blog of mine... main reason coz I will use my mobile phone to upload pictures that I have got.. Although I have downloaded the blog application to allow me to blog using my phone but sometimes its much more easier to blog an entry using a normal keyboard instead of the touchscreen... and so that gives me a reason for not updating my blog.. But I will try to update as and when I can..

All the while, I have interest in baking cake - cake and that is simple cakes.. haha!! Marble Cakes, Cup cakes and cottony cheesecakes.. want to try out pandan or chiffon cake one dae when I have to mood and time bah~ Scroll for some of the cakes that I baked for the past few weeks...

Been doing nothing much for the past few weeks.. bake cakes and meet up with my evils... just meet up on last saturday @ our 2nd home... Chatted till 4+ super tired!! But its all these mini sessions that make us bond together ... The so called EVIL SESSIONS!! Hahahaa!!!

Mama's toe have been swollen for past one week or so.. hai.. sometimes see her very poor thing.. just hope that her toe will start to heal ASAP.. understand that the wound wun heal so easily coz she's diabetic... gotta control her diet and buy more block tea or reduce sugar level stuffs for her to eat le... =)

6 more months to the New Year 2011 haha!!! Time for a recall on the resolution set.. hehe!! Fail flat flat.. But I got my reasons tho... Cannot make up to work coz weather is very hot.. so makes my skin feels so sticky and oily after make up.. As for ordering lesser food - this one confirm fail.. how to order lesser when U are together with friends who loves to eat.. this one is confirm failure... now must put on the thinking cap for new resolution for the 2nd half of the year...

1. To save money for future use haha!
2. To really sit down and think for my future
3. To give parents more money
4. To change alot of things in my hse
5. To strike the "desired" money in 4d!!
6. To ************ (for my own - not to be disclosed)

All these will be updated in January 2011 as to whether resolutions are accomplished...

Ok back to the normal post.. Ah Fish bday dinner @ Tung Lok Seafood East Coast... Celebrated on 12.05.2010 (WednesdaY)~ Cabbed down to the restaurant with ST Loves right after work... Reached there and started order already.. I think there must be a strategy when eating buffet.. We order one round - finish one round - then order again.. Dont order all at one time else U will have a hard time digesting the food.. Hahaha!!

All nearly collapsed after the first round.. In the past, there were around 40 odd dishes and now they revised the menu to like 30+ dishes.. and my favourite glutinous ice-cream gone~~~~ SAD!!!!! Super full then we started to take pictures in the room liao.. coz too full to eat already.. and it started pouring cats and dogs when we were about to leave... and the cab uncle so talkative... want to sleep also cannot!!

Anyway.. most of the pics are up in the facebook... So for blog, I just update few pictures... hee!!!

My 2nd update within a day.. Its not that I am free at work.. the reason is coz I am too tired to do anything.. Basically close one job and do some sales pick up only.. haha!! Wondering if I will slack tml as well haha!! But must have some output tml.. =)

Another back date post... Lunch gathering with poly lovelies - Yimin, Agunes and Fish.. Venue was at Fish & Co @ Great World City.. Terrible traffic everywhere thus leading me for 45mins late .. haha!! Reached there and started ordering food.. Fish, Agunes and Me chose to have the refillable drinks @ $2.50 or $3.00 extra haha!! And started forcing them to drink more.. else not worth the top up!!

Chatted our way thru... haha sometimes miss those days where we studying together.. and how can we ever miss out gossiping about those pple in our class... haha!! We gossips about facts and not malign other pple de haha!! Lunch gathering lasted ard for 2 hrs or so.. I gotta rush down to Joanne's to change my nail polish color.. haha!! Then time to shop ard... fix my tiffany necklace etc.. Then went for Ice-cream @ 313.. waited for my sister to finish work then home sweet home...

Really adores such gathering... see u all nxt mth!!! haha!!

My virgin trip to Batam~~ Together with Josephine, Mama Rose and Luanie.. we went to Batam for a one day Rest and Relax SPA Retreat... Chose KTM Resort coz Jo went for it before and so we decided to go.. Chose the $160 Romantic Spa Package.. With body scrub, body mask, massage, hydro bath and feet soaking.. Inclusive of 2 way ferry rides and free lunch as well!! Our ferry was set to leave at 9.20am and we gotta check in by 850am but Luan late la.. and so we got to pay $2 more for the nxt ferry... Add $2 and took the lousier ferry.. I think the Batam Fast or Batam First Ferry was much more comfortable than the wat Penguin.. old old one.. haha!!

Wanted to buy beer at the small DFS to the massage resort to drink but at the tot of no ice then we decided not to buy again.. It was a 45 mins ride from SG to Batam... Took the shuttle bus provided to the resort - took us ard 10 mins or lesser.. MY GOD!!! Soo0o0o hot... hotter than in SG!! We proceed to the treatment room... Rose and Jo one room and me shared with Granny... First was the body scrub that reallie makes me feel tat my body is so clean... scrub first round then they use the cloth again to clean off the bath salt.. den the body mask... had the body mask on the body for around 10 mins... comfortable until u fall asleep.. and u can see the sea view there and occasional old speeed boats.. wondering if they are there to peep at pple who are having the treatments hahha!!

Then went off to clean the body.. - shower liao~ Then MASSAGE TIME!! I cultivate a liking to massage ever since Rose kept massaging for us.. reallie very relaxing... my whole body was reallie aching and reallie looking forward to it... but at some parts, it was too pain for me to slp.. haha and so I endure lor.. zzz!! But very refreshing after the massage!!

After massage time for our lunch!! Free Lunch.. something like our Zi Char in SG.. with rice, sweet and sour fish, stir fry veggies, meat and some beancurd dishes... and ya... FREE COCONUTS.... we kept telling the waitress that we got free coconuts.. she must be thinking these singaporeans never drink coconut before izzit haha~~ Very fulll *BURPS*

Then after lunch we went back to our Hydro Bath... haha~~ Alot of bubbles.. very fun!! The whole jacuzzi filled up with bubbles that I cannot see the rest of them le... After our hydro bath - is the end of our Romantic Spa~ Then we took a cab to the Shopping Mall.. also known as the Mega mall.. first stop A&W!! Haha Root beer float. curly fries and chicken~ After seeing a young girl drink fanta strawberry ... I also want one haha!!

But very tired ley... should have come back to SG after massage coz nothing to buy at the shopping center.. Reached SG ard 9+ and fell asleep after I reached home...~

I am always blessed with alot of wonderful friends for my life.. Like how many other people says.. the closest group of friends are normally from ur secondary school.. I think this is true coz I got wonderful friends whom are still close to me even after we leave our secondary school.. One group will be the Evil Sisters and the other one will be Mic and BC liao~

Just meet up with the both of them for dinner yesterday.. Together with Rx as well.. Dinner @ Ding Tai Fung coz BC like to eat chinese food instead of Western food.. Heng we made a reservation before hand coz it was super crowded!! It was my treat this round coz I reallie felt paiseh that they treated us the other time when we meet up .. Haha!! And so after chatting and eating, we decided to go somewhere else to have a drink.. @ Sembawang~

Both of them drive so I took Mic's car and RX took Bc's car... haha!! Nxt time just drive one will do.. at times.. during many circumstances.... "这个就是你的命" - Just do what you should do now... stay positive and dun be rash~

Total bottles of red wine... 5!!! 5 bottles for 5 pple... so many bottles.. drink until poon bubbles... But ytd nite was very fun... Thinking back to those prime days in AISS... every single thing seems to be so vivid.. After so many years the 4 of us still in contact.. hope that this friendship will always be so fun and strong.. =)

Wondering what went wrong with my brain and mind.. Havent been in the best mood for the past few days... Its been happening so frequently that I feel so down at times... Perhaps having a hobby will help to make my days happier.. Reallie hope so... And so when I feel down, the first thing to come to my mind is BAKING.. Likes to bake since my secondary school days but the end product always dun come swee swee to me.. But yesterday I got an end product which I tot that it was great..!! Hahahaa!!

Have been procrastinating for the longest time to bake a Japanese Cottony Cheesecake... If you type "Japanese Cottony Cheesecake".. U get a numerous list of results but the receipe and methods are almost the same... I will provide the recipe here just in case if there are pple who want to try out!! And ya the receipe calls for Cream Cheese and currently NTUC selling it @ $4.45 which is cheaper than the usual $5++ and so I bought one more just in case I want to bake it during the weekends.. haha!!

Just when I want to start baking, I cannot find my electric beater's "leg" and so no choice... I did it with the dough mixer "leg" instead... Will go and find the missing part ASAP so that I can try out the cake again.. It just makes me happie seeing the beautifully raised cake.. haha!! And Bobby say that this is the prettiest cake so far.. TMD meaning last time all these cakes very ugly lor... Anyone have easy cakes receipe?? Can send it to me at my email address ~ Much appreciated...

Started baking around 7+ and ended ard 11pm coz the baking time for the cake is about 1hr.. But reallie happy that the cake reallie turns out nice... but I refrigerated it coz it seems to be a little too moist.. haha... so perhaps eggs white problem? Too much milk? Or ehh too little flour? Ok lar.. will try out the cake again when I got time over the weekend...

I did not take the picture of the texture coz I just cut the cake this morning to bring some to my ST loves and Sisi~ Hahaha!! And of coz when U try to do things in the morning - leads to rush.. mad rush!!!

Ok recipe as below.. (credit to Coraine my baking goddess - see her link under my list)

Japanese Cottony Cheesecake

Ingredients that you'll need:
250g Philadephia cream cheese
50g butter
100ml fresh milk
60g superfine flour (top or cake flour)
20g cornflour
6 egg yolks
1 tbsp lemon juice
¼ tsp salt

6 egg whites
140g fine granulated sugar

Steps:
1. Preheat the oven at 160 degrees.

2. Melt the cream cheese, butter with milk in a double boiler method.

3. Put it aside till it cools down.

4. When it's cooled, fold in the flour, egg yolks, lemon juice & salt into the cheese mixture.

5. Beat the egg whites till abit foamy

6. Add in 1/3 of the sugar, and continue to beat. followed by another 1/3 of sugar, beat again, lastly the remaining 1/3 of sugar

7. Beat till the egg white becomes frothy white, and when u lifts the whisk upside down, the strand of egg white will "stand".

8. Scoop 1/3 of the beaten egg white into the cheese mixture, fold with fast and light strokes to prevent the egg white from deflating

9. Pour the cheese mixture back to the remaining egg white, fold again.

10 Get ready a bigger pan, Put the cake pan into the bigger pan, add hot water till half the height of the cake pan.

11. Bake for 1hr - 1hr 10 mins.

12. Take the water bath pan out of the oven and let the cake sit in the oven leaving the door ajar for 20 mins, then unmould it

(Disruption) - Got some bum bum arranging her paperwork.. den banging on the table... leading to me fogetting what I want to blog!! NANA!!!

How true is the above sentence??? Some people feels that with comparison, it actually makes you motivated and wants to achieve more.. at time when u compare with other people then u see how small you are compared to others.. den leading to depressions!! SUX HOR!!!!

No point sticking ur butt on ur chair and feel how miserable you are... Action speaks louder than words..

Actually I dunno what is the purpose of this entry... thought that I just want to rant haha!! Perhaps I need a break.. another holiday break in July 10 with some evils and ST LOVES... Perhaps I will feel recharged after the trip..

Its been like 20 over days since my bdae celebration at Lunar.. Its not that I dun want to post on my bdae celebration but I have already loaded the pictures in my facFirstebook already.. Interested parties or those who are my friends already would have seen the pictures in my FB account.. Have been celebrating my bdae at Dbl O for the past few years but this year celebrated at Lunar instead... reason being Dbl O was closed for moving... they are moving to some Queenstreet venue or something... Wanted to end my bdae celebration at Dbl O this year but cannot coz they are closed.. Feel like stopping my bdae celebration this year.. but friends have been saying why dun u celebrate till 30 then stop.. hahahaha can consider... =P

Before starting the party, went for dinner with the ST loves and Keline @ a HK cafe located at Liang Court.. watched Jay concert DVD while having our dinner... After which we went over to Lunar coz I got to open the bottles before the happy hour ends.. Opened 2 bottles on my own, ST loves shared one and one more shared by cousin and clubbing khakis.. total 4 bottles also not enuff to drink... some ordered tower of beer as well..

Spend the night taking pictures, drinking and chit chatting... hee!! As usual there are pple who are drunk that day lar.. hahaha so dun mention who ok.. quite a number too.. Got 2 bdae cakes this year.. one from evils and one from Ah Siao.. haha!! Both strawberry cakes - a never fail to make me happie cake.. hee!!

And ya we started the night drinking lambo lor.. nearly want to die liao... but I reallie enjoy this bdae... thanks to those who took care of me and of coz my belongings..

Special thanks for Rose Mama and Josephine... Rose mama help me to press my hand whenever I tell her I felt giddy and drunk already.. and the very nice 2 send me home and even sent sms to my sister telling her to open door when I tot I can open the door myself.. hahaha!!! Muackies*

The yearly bdae dinner with my dearest evils... 23.04.2010~

Dinner venue @ Tung Lok Seafood East Coast... made a reservation since Feb 2010 coz we wanted to have a room instead of the main hall... at the same time we could have some privacy to ourselves.. haha!! Together with Ah Hua, we took cab down to the place.. waiting for her at void deck den suddenly receive a fone call from her that the uncle went to Khatib there instead.. and the went up to CTE then super jam again.. nana!! and we spend 30 bucks just on the stupid cab!!!! So0o0o0o angree!!!

Reached there den took pictures together as usual.. den waited for the rest to join us before serving us the dinner.. Granny was late due to work constraints so no choice, we got to tell the staff to keep those one-time serving dishes for use... just in case the food goes out of stock haha!! Damm Kiasu.. and thanks to Karen Eu... those who want to go there can call for her service.. very attentive person.. haha!! And together with my ST Loves, we are going there again for Fish's bdae dinner too!!! =)

Super full after our dinner as usual and then move on to our 2nd home to walk walk... T3 under renovation and alot of places cannot be entered.. so we ended the night quite early at around 1+am...

Bdae Dinner with the Ah Lim's family... the usual practice for bday.. So this time round the dinner was at Ban Leong @ Casuarina Road... coz the greedy Lims wanted to eat the chilli crabs.. Rushed down to the restaurant right after work.. cabbed as usual hee... THey already ordered the food even before I reached there...

Food for the day... Chilli lala, some greeny vegetables, sweet and sour pork, prawn paste chicken, chilli crabs and my favourite Orr Ni... !!! Very nice as usual.. and super packed.. total bill add up to $120+ quite value for money... Called for the bill and after I signed on the receipt... I tot I was not being charged for the Orr ni.. so I told the Ah Lims to faster run and Bobby's reaction was so funny ... he took the big care bear and wanted to run away liao...

After running away, I analyze the receipt... and then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw I was charged for the Orr ni....... damm stupid hahhaha!! After dinner, we went to the Biscuit King coz elder sister wanted to bring some back to Perth for her friends haha... then cabbed home... short dinner but warm at heart... =)

The weekend rest that I needed so much... celebrated my bdae last saturday at Lunar... have been feeling so tired for the past one week.. and now I am here do post-bdae entries.. haha!!! But most of the pictures are already up at my facebook already..

Rewind back to ehh 16.04.2010 - Dinner with RX @ TGIF.. Never been here so RX suggested going to this place for dinner but rather pricey.. 2 of us have a meal that costs $100+ haha!!! We each ordered a main and a platter to share... food was ok, service was great.. but very hot ley.. coz no air con... But if you guys want to try, its at Heeren... quite packed during weekends.. but I guess the waiting time is not that long... hehe!!

After the super full dinner, both of us went to Somerset to walk walk... ate ice cream and then time to go home.. Full to the brim as usual.. haha!!

A very special day... my Mayday is in Singapore... Last year they came during RX bdae August and now this year - April!!! The first concert that they held outdoor.. initially it was at Padang but then changed to National Stadium - The last outdoor concert for National Stadium.. Thinking back, I have only been to National Stadium during secondary school days for one weird event haha!! And now I am back for Mayday concert... =)

Saw Sulin and Yiting there as well.. Concert was supposed to start at 7.30pm but I guess the heavy rain on that afternoon changed everything.. Heard that most of the equipments were spoilt and the grass so soggy man~!!!! But had a great seat.. 5th row from the front and was super near to the runway track.. I guess I can even grab Monster/Ashin leg when they walk past hahahahahhhaahha!! But this time round, I didnt take alot of pictures coz I reallie want to enjoy myself watching them with my bare eyes rather than spending time taking pictures of them... Thinking back.. Year 2000 was the first SBS concert tat I saw them in SG... already like them since 1997 when dad was watching the TV and RECOMMENDED Mayday to me.. hahha!!

As usual my khaki for the concert was RX - the one we always accompany me to their concert.. thanks gal~

After the show, fireworks as well.. Alot pple have commented tat this concert is not as nice as the past few concerts.. but to me, its the run down of songs that makes the difference.. deep in my heart - THEY ARE STILL THE MAYDAY that I like... =)

Together with the ST LOVES, we had my pre-bdae celebration dinner @ Mandarin Orchard~ Triple Three (333) restaurant... International buffet with "live" cooking... For example, you can get the chef to cook for u.. Shuyu can only take vegetarian dishes so you can tell the chef to whip up something to cater to her dietary needs.. =)

No wonder, it was one of the best resturant in Singapore.. fresh seafood, tender beef, nice chicken... nice dessert also and nice ambience.. all these are important but the most important is the companion lar... together with the ST LOVES, eat wat also nice one lar.. hahaha!! Sometimes we wondering... we cannot eat alot but still we lurves to go buffet .. haha bad habit I think... Was on half day and meet up with Jo to go down together.. as usual cab down... wondering how much we always spend on cab......

Took pictures and then attacked the food there.. I guess we were making too much noise until a Ang Moh approach us..

We were among the first few to enter the restaurant and the last to leave... after eating, we sat around to eat eat.. really very full... full till the brim liao and exploding anytime~

But still enjoyed myself... and I guess the ST LOVES enjoy the dinner which burnt a hole in our pockets.. Each pax is ard $80+ but after Credit Card discount, I guess we still gotta pay $70+ ... hahaha!! Heng we still got abit of money in our piggy bank that we can use.. =)

I wanted so much to finish all the outstanding post.. but hor.. somehow I dunno why... I cannot find the pictures for the Fantastic Four gathering... (BF Caca, Yanting, Lexin and Me)...

Long awaited gathering coz the Lexin havent been joining us for the gatherings.. and this time round she can make it.. so we have our dinner at Shokudo.. as usual lar.. Bf and I ate alot... chicken with rice set and ordered a plate of wings to share.. then Ah Ting only ordered... a bowl of garlic rice and some bbq stuffs to eat so different from us hor.. haha!!

And the stupid sotong late.. so she ordered 2 plates of sushi and finished all by herself.. and ate so much of the soya sauce.. later got kidney problem den u noe!! hahahahaha!! As usual those chats .... talking about those times in HP.. sometimes it reallie bring fond memories back when we are talking about those days.. really fun...

After dinner we went to an Italian restaurant for some $10 soda water hahahaha!! With DBS Card, free strawberry ice cream.... and so when is our nxt gathering... ok weird to be a gathering post without pictures... I am so going to Facebook to take 1 or 2 pics here hahhaa!!!

Ok I am going to post the last 2 days entry together.. haha!! Not that I AM LAZY.. coz for last day at TW, we just spend our time doing last minute shopping at XMD and lunch at the Da Che Lun!! haha!!

2nd last day routine: Bei tou for hotspring - Dan Shui - Lover's Bridge - XMD again for BB tea~!

Went out to Bei Tou for hot spring but damm it.. they dun allow 5 to a room only 3 to a room and to make things worst.. the 3rd person gotta pay extra for it.. so Keline and Charis went ahead .. so me, PR and JH stayed at the Hot Spring Hotel for the free WIFI... so excited coz we have not been using facebook and watsapp for a long time haha!!!

Fb-ing while waiting for them to finish their hotspring.. then we move on to Dan Shui Old street for food and some mochis etc... super alot pple, guess was one of their public holidays bah... Only the 5 of us carrying alot of things, the other pple should be Taiwanese and not tourists coz most of them empty handed hahahah!! Then eat and walk down the street.... super hot and tired ley.. one of the hottest day during our trip...

TOok a bus to the Lover's bridge... wondering hw we managed to walk there 2 yrs back haha!! Lucky us saw the herbs maggie mee at the convenience shop and started to buy loads of it.. hahaha!! We wanted to go Shi Lin after Dan Shui but too tired and too heavy to go there already.. and so we decided to go back to XMD for KFC, bb tea, chicken and mian xian!! After resting in the hotel then we moved on to KTV!!!

And the KTV in TW so cool... one toilet to one KTV room.. so u dun need to walk all the way to the common shared toilet.. and quite cheap.. we sang like for 4/5 hours.. den each around $20?? You wun get such price in SG bah... haha coz I think their KTV opens for 24hours haha!! Dragged ourselves back to hotel.. then sleep.......

Checked out from the hotel 12noon the nxt day.. went for the authentic Japanese food at XMD.. then last minute shopping ....Time to say goood bye~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Today is the only day that we left the hotel late... Initially we planned to go for MOS Burger for breakfast but cannot wake up.. too tired already!! Left our hotel ard 1pm plus ba... Places for today..

Evans Burger @ Shida - Shida Night Market - Mirarma - Shih Lin Night Market - XMD for BB Tea and Mian Xian!!

First stop was Evans Burger @ Shi da~ Few months back, we were watching TV at home showing the nice food at Shi Da place and so were tried to go there for lunch as well.. Small restaurant with alot of pple.. thus we need to wait for a table and so we went to eat chocolate first before going back to the restaurant.. The chocolate shop was also shown on the TV!! We wanted to rest our feets there and so we have to spend dunnoe minimum how much then only we can sit there.. bought few varieties of chocolate and drinks to share...

Then went back to Evans Burger for food.. they are well know for burgers here.. and so we ordered some burgers to share and sides as well.. Pls note that if you wanna order any chicken burgers, you have to check with them if there are any beef in the burger.. coz we ordered a chicken burger but there is a layer of minced beef.. taste nice actually haha!! then for the drinks, its refillable.. so you can request for refill of soft drinks as well..

After the hearty meal, we went for a walk walk at the area.. saw a bakery with alot pple so I buy one cheesecake and a bun to eat... haha never eat... kept in my bag and bring back to hotel later..!! PR then buy a cup of strawberries... U can choose to put condensed milk or chocolate over the strawberries.. yummy...

Time for Mirarma... never been to the TW ferris wheel 2 years back... so gotta try... free shuttle provided but the kuku 5 dunnoe where to Q.. suddenly the bus came and we all run there ... the bus driver then announce can go up by the front door so we all run there... the driver hor too fast too furious.. so scary.. drive so fast very scary.. reached Mirarma safely and went to purchase the tix...

The capsule at Mirarma very small.. and due to the windy weather.. I can feel the capsule swing when it was moving up the wheel.. damm scary sial.. not as stable as the one we have in Singapore perhaps mabbe its small so it swings... scary~~~~~~~~ After Mirarma, we went to Shilin night market.. the place full of pple!!!!!

2 years back, we didnt managed to walk to those streets and now... we managed to squeeze in... but raining ley.. so no choice we continue walking and bought some food to eat while walking.. and heng lor we decided to eat shaved ice ~~~ but then it was not the Mango season so no mango shaved ice.. ordered chocolate, passionfruit and ehhhhhhh strawberry one to share hee!!!

Super tired sial.. den walked to the station, take train back to XMD.. Then Keline and me move the barangs back to hotel then PR, Charis and Jiahui went to buy food!! YUMMY!!! Ah Zong Mian Xian, Chicken pai~ and BB tea~~~ Tea leaves egg as well hahahaha!!!

Then nua... watch tv den sleep le.. hahaha~ very relaxed but everydae I cannot sleep coz pillow and bed too soft to my liking...
